Yours faithfully,
Article 13(11) of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 says the employer gives it on the worker's request, when the contract ends. It states the start date, the end date, the entire service term, the job title or type of work, the last wage and the reason the contract ended. It must contain nothing that may harm the worker's reputation or limit their chances of finding a new job. The checklist beside the form ticks each item Article 13(11) lists as you fill it in. It shows what is filled in, and you stay responsible for what the certificate says.
No. Article 13(11) says the certificate is given without fees, so it is free for the worker.
The generator counts from the start date to the end date, with the end date included, and shows the result in years, months and days. It is a count of the calendar between your two dates. Article 33 says unpaid leave approved by the employer is not included in the service term, so if the worker took unpaid leave, check the figure before you sign.
State what happened in plain words, such as the contract ended, or the worker resigned. Article 13(11) requires the certificate to hold nothing that may harm the worker's reputation or limit their chances of finding a new job, so a note beside the reason field repeats that condition.
Every figure on this page comes from the rules below, checked 17 October 2026.
