Ask a question about the business, in the chat.
The assistant in the sidebar answers from your own records, not from the conversation. Ask what is overdue or who owns an account and it reads the pipeline and the ledger, showing only what you are allowed to see.
The difference
- A chat tool's AISummarises the chat, because the chat is all it has
- This oneReads your deals, invoices, tickets and people
- Scoped to youIt answers with what your role may see, and no more
Ask Pippin
Questions a chat tool cannot answer.
Not because their model is worse, but because a chat tool has nothing to read except the chat. The answer arrives as it is written, in the sidebar, without leaving the room.
- Which deals have gone quiet this month?Reads your pipeline, not the channel
- What is outstanding from Harbour Line?Reads the invoices, and says which
- Who owns the Meridian account?Reads the record, not somebody guessing
- What did we agree on the second phase?Reads the thread pinned to that deal
It answers with what your role may see, and nothing beyond it.
The same limits as the rest of the product.
The assistant does not have its own permissions. Somebody who cannot open a salary in the app cannot get one out of the sidebar either, and a department that cannot see another department's pipeline still cannot.
Scoped by
- Your roleExactly what you can open by hand
- Your departmentNot a company-wide answer to a scoped question
- Nothing inventedIf it cannot find it, it says so
Start real work from a message.
Turn a line in a conversation into a task, and it becomes a real task on a real board with an owner. When the work moves, the outcome comes back into the room, so the thread that started it also finishes it.
From chat into the work
- A task from a messageOn the right board, with an owner
- It runs your workflowThe same one everything else uses
- The outcome comes backInto the room it started in
