Support

Working the Support Queue Three views, four filters, and the one indicator worth checking first each morning.

The queue is the same data three ways. Which one you want depends on whether you are working tickets, watching a team, or looking for a bottleneck.

Start with what is breaching

A red Breaching count sits at the top right, showing how many tickets in view have passed their deadline. Click it to search within them.

This is the first thing to look at each morning. A breached ticket has already broken a promise, and the gap only widens.

Three views

List is the default and the one for daily work. Every ticket is a row, all fields side by side, and clicking one opens the full detail beside it without losing your place.

Swimlanes groups tickets into rows by severity, with status across the columns. Use it to see whether critical work is piling up at a particular stage.

Board arranges tickets as cards in status columns. It is the most visual, and best for spotting where work is getting stuck.

Narrowing it down

Four filters, and they combine:

  • Status, to see only what has not been started
  • Nature, to pull out billing questions or at-risk customers
  • Severity, to work critical cases first
  • Owner, to review one person's load

All and Mine sit above them. Mine is your day; All is for whoever is watching the whole queue.

Assigning

Click the owner field on any ticket and pick someone. It moves into their Mine view immediately.

Unassigned tickets that are also breaching are the ones to hand out first, because nothing is happening to them at all.
