Openness
Decisions get explained, not announced. You find out why something is being built while it is still being decided.
We are building an entire operating system for a business, which is a large thing to take on. We are doing it without asking anyone to give up their evenings, their weekends, or the place they want to live.
How we work
Culture is whatever a company actually does on an ordinary Tuesday. These are ours, stated plainly so you can hold us to them.
Decisions get explained, not announced. You find out why something is being built while it is still being decided.
The better argument wins the room. Seniority does not settle a design question here, and it will not settle yours.
Equal pay for equal work, and we are working towards equal board representation for women and men.
A school run, an appointment, something at home. Plan around them and say so plainly. No apology, no making up the hours later.
Vitality is one of the rings on your home screen. The product asks whether you took your break, because we meant it.
Remote first. Hubs exist because teams end up in more than one place, and nobody should be the person dialling in.
No screen watching, no keystroke counting, no screenshots on a timer. We look at what got done. That is the whole method.
Not a line at the foot of a job post. It shows up earlier than that, in who gets shortlisted and who gets asked.
How we hire
Nobody here has ever been hired off a CV and a good chat. The order below is the whole process, and we do not skip a step for anyone.
Everyone gets one. It is tailored to the role and to you, and it is the actual kind of thing the job involves rather than a puzzle with a trick in it.
We read the solutions before we read anything else about you. The strongest one carries into a conversation about how you work and what you would want to own.
Only after both of those does an interview happen. By that point we already know you can do the work, so it is a conversation rather than an examination.
The best solution wins. Almost always, and we would rather say almost than claim a process is cleaner than any process run by people ever is.
Open roles
We hire slowly and rarely, and we would rather leave a seat empty than fill it badly. When a role opens it will be listed here, with its own salary range in the posting rather than a band copied across every job.
Tell us what you would want to own and why this, rather than anywhere else. Everything that arrives gets read by a person.
careers@nearsync.aiThe product is live, and the trial fills every department with sample data. It is the fastest way to understand the job before you write to us.
