See how engaged your team is, without sending a survey.

Every person gets four scores - Momentum, Nexus, Growth and Vitality - built from attendance, recognition, training and their everyday work. Nobody is asked to rate their engagement out of ten.

Four areasOne person, scored four ways rather than once

Momentum, Nexus, Growth and Vitality move independently. A single engagement number would average away the one area worth acting on.

Each score is built from work your team already does in NearSync, so there is nothing extra to fill in.

  • Momentum tracks punctuality, consistency and how fast tasks get done
  • Nexus tracks connection with colleagues, knowledge shared and recognition given
  • Growth tracks training completed, feedback and use of AI tools
  • Vitality tracks wellness, focus and culture

Your own targets

Decide what a full score means in your company.

Twelve targets sit behind the four areas, three in each, and you set every one of them: tasks a day, days in a row, on-time attendance, posts shared a week, hours of focus, breaks a day. Set them once and they apply to everybody.

Badges

Award badges for the things you want to see more of.

Create up to fifteen badges, each with a name, an icon and a rarity. Choose a rule from the list and the number that earns it, or keep the badge for an admin to award by hand. A badge can be open to everyone, or only to one department.

Points and streaks

Decide what a good run is worth.

Set the points for closing one area and the bonus for closing all four in a day. Then write your own milestones: a name, how many days in a row it takes, and the reward you are offering. The leaderboard ranks everyone by points, for the week, the month or all time.

Access

Who can do what.

Everyone can see their own four scores and what is behind them. Viewing a team, and comparing across the organisation, need separate permissions.

See

See your own four scores and what is behind them.

Do

Give recognition, complete training, take feedback.

Manage

See your team's scores and act when one runs low.

Admin

Compare scores across the whole organisation.

Admin is the highest role and is not limited by these permissions, so give it only to the small group of people who truly need it.

One quarter, start to finish

Three scores healthy, one worth a conversation.

Momentum and Vitality were strong, Nexus was steady, and Growth came in low. Opening Growth showed why: an overdue course and no feedback given this quarter. The fix was clear - assign the course and ask for the feedback.

Punctuality and consistency came straight from the attendance record.
