This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what is not allowed when using the NearSync platform. It forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to you and every user in your workspace. We may update it as the product and the threat landscape change.
Prohibited activities
You must not use the Service to:
- break the law, or infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
- store or transmit malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or hateful;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other tenants’ data, or our infrastructure;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission, or defeat tenant isolation and access controls;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
Security and integrity
You are responsible for the security of your accounts and credentials. Do not share credentials, circumvent usage limits, or use the Service to build a competing product by extracting the platform’s software. Report suspected vulnerabilities to us rather than exploiting them.
AI use
The Service includes AI features. You must not use them to generate unlawful content, to impersonate others deceptively, to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate human review, or in a way that violates a connected AI provider’s terms. AI outputs may be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing them before acting.
Messaging and anti-spam
If you send messages through the Service (email, WhatsApp, SMS, or voice), you must have a lawful basis and the recipient’s consent where required, honour opt-outs promptly, and comply with the rules of the relevant channel and provider, including WhatsApp Business and telecom regulations. You must not send unsolicited bulk messages.
Fair use of resources
Managed plans include reasonable usage for normal business operations. You must not place an unreasonable load on shared infrastructure, run disproportionate automated workloads, or use the Service in a way that degrades it for other customers. We may contact you about excessive use and agree limits.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches and may remove content, throttle, suspend, or terminate access for serious or repeated violations or where required to protect the Service or others. Where practicable we will give notice; urgent security risks may require immediate action.
Reporting
To report abuse or a suspected violation, contact abuse@nearsync.ai. For security issues, contact security@nearsync.ai.
