Sell a box and six months of work on the same quote.

One catalogue holds physical goods, services, downloads, subscriptions and kits. Stock counts stay live, long projects are tracked stage by stage, and anything paid in installments has its own payment schedule.

One catalogueA box and six months of work, priced on the same quote

Physical goods, services, downloads, subscriptions and kits sit in one list, so a deal can carry any mix of them without a second system.

What it solves

Four problems this solves.

All four come from the same place: the thing you sell, the stock behind it and the deal in front of it are usually three separate systems.

01
A catalogue that only holds one kind of thing

Inventory tools treat a service as a product with the stock fields hidden, and service tools cannot count a box. If you sell both, you end up running two catalogues and stitching quotes together by hand.

02
A stock figure that is always a few hours old

When the warehouse and the sales pipeline are separate tools, what a salesperson promises and what is on the shelf only agree as often as the two get synced. In NearSync they are one number, so they always agree.

03
A delivery checklist rebuilt on every deal

Multi-step work gets tracked in whatever tool someone opened first, and the hundredth licence application ends up rebuilt from memory.

04
A payment schedule that lives in a document

A 10-30-60 split gets agreed in a contract, retyped into a spreadsheet, and finance only finds out what is due when somebody forwards them the PDF.

Work, priced properly

Price and deliver services the way you actually sell them.

A retainer, a per-person tour and a milestone contract all work differently. For each service you set how it is priced, how it is delivered, when it happens and when it counts as revenue, and each answer changes what happens next.

What the answers decide

  • The quote line. A retainer asks for a billing cycle, a tour for a head count, time and materials for a rate.
  • The delivery tracker. Staged services put their steps on the deal. Scheduled ones go to the booking calendar.
  • The accounting entry. Revenue recognition counts money as earned at the right moment, not just when it is invoiced.
  • The renewal. A recurring service raises its next invoice by itself, with no reminder needed.

How it connects to the rest of NearSync

  • Sales. Quote lines come straight from the catalogue. Win the deal and the item, its price, currency and tax appear on the invoice automatically.
  • Finance. Tax rates come from the same list your books use, and revenue recognition decides when money counts as earned, not just invoiced.
  • Operations. Anything that needs scheduling goes to the booking engine, so there is one calendar, not two.
  • Analytics. Stock and revenue figures use the same shared definitions as your dashboards, so a number here means the same thing everywhere.

Bookings run on this same catalogue. The calendar, availability and payment side is covered on the booking engine page.

Stock

What is on hand, and where it is.

Counted per location, with the movement behind every change kept as a record you cannot edit. Selling something takes it off the shelf it actually came from.

Stage flows

A multi-step delivery, tracked stage by stage.

Work that takes six weeks and four handovers is not one line on an invoice. Each stage carries its own owner and its own state, so anybody can see where a job actually is.

The flow belongs to the service, so every deal that sells it gets the same steps without anybody rebuilding them. Move a deal on and the stage moves with it.

Payment plans

Let them pay in instalments, without chasing it.

Write the plan once and reuse it. The invoices raise themselves on the dates you set, and what is still outstanding is on the same ledger as everything else.

The questions we get asked.

Anything longer lives in the help centre.

How many products can we list?

As many as you sell. The catalog holds every product and every way you price it, with stock counted per location.

Can we sell work that is not a product?

Yes. The service catalog prices work nine different ways, and a multi-step delivery is tracked stage by stage rather than as one line.

Can a customer pay in instalments?

Yes. Write a payment plan once, reuse it, and the invoices raise themselves on the dates you set.

Is stock counted across more than one location?

Yes. You see what is on hand and where it is, and the movement behind every change stays on the record.
