AI Lead Generation is the lead sourcing area of Sales. Instead of logging into several external databases separately and copying names out of each, you connect them here and review everything they return in one place.
It has two tabs: Providers and Leads.
Providers
Ten B2B data providers can be connected.
| Provider | What it specialises in |
|---|---|
| Apollo.io | Email finding, company enrichment, intent data |
| ZoomInfo | Org charts, technographics, intent signals |
| Lusha | Direct dials, email verification, CRM enrichment |
| Clearbit | Real-time company enrichment and prospecting |
| Cognism | Phone-verified data with strong GDPR compliance |
| Hunter.io | Domain search, email finding and verification |
| Kaspr | LinkedIn-based enrichment and phone numbers |
| LeadIQ | One-click capture and CRM sync |
| UpLead | Real-time verification and technographics |
| Snov.io | Email finding with outreach campaigns |
Connecting One
You need an API key from that provider. Keys are added under System Settings, then Integrations - not inside Sales itself, because the same credential may be used by more than one part of the platform.
Once connected, the provider shows a green Enabled status and a Sync button to pull leads on demand.
What This Costs
You pay the provider directly, for whatever you have subscribed to. NearSync adds no markup and charges nothing for the integrations themselves.
Choosing Providers
Start with one or two whose coverage matches the markets you actually sell into, rather than connecting all ten and drowning in duplicates.
A provider with strong Gulf coverage will do more for a team selling in the UAE and Saudi Arabia than one built primarily for the United States, however good its overall reputation. Each provider card carries tags showing the kind of data it covers.
Leads
Every lead your connected providers have returned. A summary at the top shows three counts:
- Accepted - reviewed and worth pursuing
- Converted - accepted leads that became contacts and were linked to a deal
- Total imported - everything pulled in from all sources
Each row shows the name and company, job title, a badge for the provider it came from, a score where the provider supplies one, and its status: New, Accepted or Converted.
Working Through Them
Accept or reject leads individually, or use Accept All and Reject All to process a batch.
An accepted lead is ready for outreach. Converting it turns it into a full contact in your Workspace, where it behaves like any other contact and can be linked to deals.
Convert, Do Not Retype
Always convert an accepted lead rather than creating a contact for the same person by hand.
Tip
Converting carries the source information across. That is what later answers the question worth asking - which provider, which channel, which campaign actually produced the clients you kept. A contact typed in manually has no origin, and no amount of reporting recovers it.
Common Questions
Do leads appear automatically? Connected providers push into your Leads list, and the Sync button pulls the latest on demand.
What happens to rejected leads? They stay in the list marked rejected rather than disappearing, so the same person does not arrive again next month with nobody remembering why they were passed over.
Can two providers return the same person? Yes, which is the main argument for connecting a small number with good coverage rather than all ten.
